Microsoft settlement closer

It seems increasingly likely that Microsoft and the US Department of Justice are close to reaching a settlement to the three-year long anti-trust case. The states, however, are not on board. Mobile phone sales up 22 per cent

Worldwide mobile phone sales totalled 205.4 million units in the third quarter of 2005, up 22 per cent against the equivalent period last year, according to industry analyst Gartner. There are three new entries in the ELSPA UK games chart this week: Medal of Honor: European Assault (the multi-console-format first person shooter, in at number two), Juiced (the multi-format city-based racing game, in at number three) and Batman Begins (the multi-console-format movie-spin-off, in at number six). NVidia to design new GPU for Sony
