Sanyo unveils 730MB digital camera

Sanyo has unveiled its new IDC-1000Z iDshot camera capable of filming up to 120 minutes of digital video footage or storing as many as 11,000 still images. The camera is built around Sanyo's new HRGP graphics processor, allowing video to be recorded in VGA resolution (640x480) at 30 frames per second and enabling 'high-speed' consecutive still shooting. Breaking with its tradition of closely guarded secrecy about future products, Apple yesterday gave a preview of a new set-top box for wirelessly transmitting video from a Mac or PC to a TV. AMD is reported to be preparing to announce a design for a low cost PC aimed at under $250 without a monitor. According to CNet, AMD plans to unveil the machine this week.
