Casio to sell cheap PDA

Famous for its Cassiopeia range of PDAs, Casio has announced that its latest handheld computer will be a low-priced budget model. The Cassiopeia BE-300 will feature a colour LCD screen but will also sport a street price of less than $300 (around ?210). Seven UK cities and London areas go wireless

Wi-Fi operator The Cloud has announced plans to provide blanket wireless Net access across seven UK cities and three London boroughs. Hotspots will be installed in caf?s, pubs, shops and railway stations as well as street furniture such as lamp posts. eMusic racks up 250,000 subscribers

eMusic has announced that it now has 250,000 subscribers to its two million song music download service. The website sells DRM-free, MP3s from independent labels, including some songs available with copy-protection on Apple's iTunes. Intel debuts notebook Napa

Intel CEO Paul Otellini unveiled the dual-core low-power Centrino processor at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. The new chip is rumoured to be among the centrepieces of the announcements by Steve Jobs when he demonstrates the new Apple notebooks at MacExpo this week.
