Microsoft to see sales resurgence, says new study

Microsoft appears to be at the start of a resurgence, according to a new survey by SG Cowen. More than half of the 500 companies surveyed for its second quarter report said they intended to spend more with the company, with just 6 per cent looking to cut back. NBC woos YouTube

The phenomenal popularity of the video-sharing website YouTube has attracted the approval of NBC. The American TV broadcaster will now use the site to run promotional videos and other clips. AMD and Fujitsu merge Flash memory operations

Chip manufacturer AMD and computer giant Fujitsu Limited have announced that they are to merge their Flash memory operations into a single business. The new company, to be called FASL LLC, will be based on the integration of AMD and Fujitsu's Flash memory businesses, including their existing joint manufacturing venture, Fujitsu AMD Semiconductor Limited.
