As the 20 millionth IBM Thinkpad computer rolls out of the factory, we talk to Adrian Horne of IBM's Personal Computing Division on the Thinkpad's mobile future. IBM scientists have developed a process for the mass-production of carbon nanotube transistors. The boffins have manufactured the world's first array of transistors constructed from carbon nanotubes.
