CeBIT 2005: Asus GeForce 6800 Ultra In a bid to prove that it can outdo rival Gigabyte, Asus was showing off a dual GeForce 6800 Ultra card on its stand at CeBIT. We recently reviewed the dual-GPU GeForce 6600GT (see issue 126, p86) from Gigabyte, but Asus goes one step further and uses two 6800 Ultra GPUs on a monstrous card (pictured). Using nanoscale magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), scientists at IBM's Almaden Research Centre in San Jose, California, have been able to detect the faint magnetic signal from a single electron within a solid sample.
