Samsung boast displeases Apple Samsung appears to have lost the chance to supply chips for the next version of the iPod shuffle after an executive revealed that it had won the iPod nano contract. According to Wedbush Morgan Securities' analyst Craig Berger, Apple has punished the Korean company after Jon Kang, a senior vice president, boasted last month that it would succeed Portal Player as the nano's chip maker.
