British Airways is testing a system that will allow its passengers to surf the Net from the comfort of their seats. The airline wants to be the first company to offer in-flight Internet and e-mail access and, thanks to advances in telecommunications, such a system could be in place by 2002. The noose looms for Napster

Free music lovers are logging on in their millions as an impending court decision could put paid to the song-swapping side of Napster for good. The decision, to be made by a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco, is expected at 10am (about 6pm tonight, GMT). Fox in iTunes movies talks with Apple

Fox movies may soon be on sale at Apple's iTunes Store, according to an executive for the studio's owner, News Corp. Peter Chernin, News Corp's chief operating officer, told a conference call with analysts and journalists that the company is holding talks with Apple, but would not say when, or even if, they would be successfully concluded. Currently only Walt Disney and its subsidiaries, such as Pixar, sell movies through iTunes, although Apple does sell Fox television shows. ...more
