NTL and 02 seek mobile TV audience

Cable TV network NTL and mobile phone network operator mmO2 are to trial a television service delivered to mobile phones. Next spring, 500 O2 customers around Oxford will be given multimedia phones capable of receiving 16 TV channels. BT announces 8Mb broadband for the UK

BT has announced the nationwide availability of broadband speeds up to 8Mbps, following a series of successful trials. BT puts more exchanges closer to broadband readiness

BT Wholesale has cut some of the trigger-levels for ADSL-enabling local exchanges. Such exchanges will now have lower registration targets in BT's broadband-ometer scheme, which tests local demand for fast Internet access.
