The theme of the 31st Lorea Electronics Show (KES) 2000 five-day techie jamboree is "It's a digital world", and the products on display don't disappoint. Microsoft launches SQL Server for 2005

Microsoft Corp has upgraded its ageing SQL Server product line with the announcement of four new products covering everything from entry- to enterprise-level businesses. The new products promise better reliability and security as well as improved user tools. ATI launches X700 mid-range graphics family

ATI has unveiled its new line of graphics chips: Radeon X700 visual processing units. The mid-range X700 series includes features from the previously introduced X800, but at a sub-$150 price level. eMusic has announced that it now has 250,000 subscribers to its two million song music download service.
