Spam rage man arrested in California

A man who threatened to shoot, kidnap, castrate and drill the head of an alleged spammer has been arrested in California. Charles Booher was driven to distraction by a series of emails he received offering 'penile enlargement'. After identifying the sender as Douglas Mackay, the President of DM Contact Management, Booher began issuing threats to Mackay and other employees of his company. ...more

The report has been published by the Click Fraud Index which monitors and reports on data gathered from the Click Fraud Network of more than 1,300 online advertisers and their agencies. EU sets targets for recycling batteries

The EU has announced that it has reached an agreement on targets for the collection and recycling of batteries. European Commissioner for the Environment, Stavros Dimas, said that new Battery Directive aims to ensure the collection and recycling of all batteries in the EU at the end of their useful life. The EU hopes to end incineration and landfill-disposal of batteries, and the consequent threat to both the environment and public health problems posed by the heavy metals they contain. ...more
