Burn a national flag - online!

Chinese authorities are taking a dim view of a website that encourages surfers to burn the national flag - virtually! The website is in Chinese but attacks Beijing as a "bloody regime" and asks participants to "burn down the symbol of an evil power". A link then takes you to a picture of the Chinese flag desecrated with a Nazi symbol and a political message that invites the viewer to "overthrow the dictatorship." Think Secret's 'Nick dePlume' unmasked

The editor of Mac 'rumour' website Think Secret, hitherto known only as Nick dePlume, has been unmasked. The Harvard Crimson, daily newspaper of the Cambridge, Massachusetts university, has revealed that dePlume is in fact 19-year-old undergraduate Nicholas M Ciarelli, who has been editing the site for six years. dePlume and Think Secret face legal action from Apple after revealing information - 'trade secrets' according to Apple, about forthcoming products. ...more
