Bulldog has announced 25 per cent cuts in the prices of its '@ctive' 4Mbps broadband and telephone services. Microsoft rings up the purchase of VoIP specialist

Microsoft has acquired VoIP specialist Teleo for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 2003, the privately held San Francisco-based company builds software that lets users click on telephone numbers displayed in software and web applications, such as Microsoft's Outlook and Internet Explorer, to make phone calls across the Internet to fixed-line and mobile phones and other computers.
