Sunbelt Software acquires Kerio Personal Firewall

Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but Sunbelt Software has announced that it will acquire Kerio Technologies' Personal Firewall product. This will be re-branded, temporarily, as the Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall, with all existing customers receiving support through Sunbelt once the acquisition is completed, which is expected to be before the end of the month. The latest batch of 100 or so new words to make it into Merriam-Webster's dictionary will include google as a verb. Along with 'spyware' and 'mouse potato', 'google' has now entered common parlance according to the dictionary's researchers. The word is described as a transitive verb: 'To use the Google search engine to obtain information about (as a person) on the World Wide Web'. ...more
